We were informed they did not serve alcohol with meals but could bring our own. Was surprised when Bill had 2 x courage charge given that the option to buy wine from the restaurant did not exist.

My husband and I had dinner here on Friday night... absolutely beautiful pizza in a lovely charming environment with friendly staff. We were staying at castle Leslie which is just beside this place so was perfect for a wee night out 😀

As we have frequented this lovely restaurant a number of times with somewhat critical reviews of the foodour most recent visit was the best to date . The main reason we enjoyed it so much was the improved quality and freshness of the food . The pizza menu caters for everyone's tastes without being too long winded . On previous... More

We were bowled over by this quirky and quaint Pizza restaurant.Food very good service slow although we didn't complain as we were enjoying the experience. However we did bring a bottle of Prosecco (which cost under a tenner)and were charged 3.50 each corkage amounting to 17.50 extra on the bill.No where on the menu or sign outside nor did the waitress... I love this place for the food & decor, great value for money. However on my most recent trip I was very disappointed. We arrived around 5pm, there were two other tables & us. There were 4 of us in total & we gave our order to the waitress. Starters were gorgeous, and the mains arrived. Three pizzas were set... More

We ate here while at Castle Leslie next door and couldn't recommend it highly enough. We were greeted by a roaring fire and shown to a little conservatory which we had completely to ourselves. We shared a Greek mezze platter (flatbread, pesto, hummus and stuffed grape leaves) then had pizzas for mains. It's also BYOB so we brought a bottle... More

My husband and I stayed in the lovely Castle Leslie Just after Christmas and New Year. We stumbled across Ambledown Cottage, what a find, Erin and Luke looked after us so well. We had private dining in our own lovely little room, with a roaring fire and fabulous music. The pizzeria is byo. We really enjoyed our meal but the... More
