Had a tasty salad with chicken here. There is a selection of soup, salads, sandwiches & drinks on the menu. Good value for money.

Been to this cafe on numerous occasions and always been happy with the service and food. Unfortunately on my latest visit it all went down hill fast. Booked a table for 12pm. Arrived and was seated. Waitress offered us drinks and we ordered a coffee...and some water for the table. Coffee arrived within 2 mins but that’s where the service ended. Waited another 15mins to be served and once we ordered we waited 35/40mins for our food to arrive. The food was good as usual but waiting almost an hour for breakfast was disappointing, especially as a table who arrived and was served after us got their food before ours. The biggest disappointment for me is the excuse we were giving was they were so busy with take away orders etc - in today’s climate being busy and doing a good trade shouldn’t be used as an excuse.More

We used to eat here fairly regularly but were disappointed to be told when we went along at 4 pm on Sunday that the kitchen was already closed. Apparently the times listed here and on their website are wrong and 4 pm is closing every...day now. Very odd. Most restaurants have extended their hours as seats have been reduced due to social distancing. It's usually a sign that a restaurant is about to close permanently when they have fewer and fewer opening hours. Shame.More

Very high quality food at very competitive prices. Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Really nice selection of wines. My favourite restaurant in Ashbourne.

Found this wee gem on TripAdvisor on a Sunday morning and called them to see if they could take 8 people, and they gladly took a reservation for 30 minutes later. Everyone cleared their plate and we enjoyed their different menu approach with homemade bread,...sausages and pudding, even bread for the kids toast. One of the kids would have loved pancakes (not on the menu), but I can’t mark you down for that! Thanks Folks👌🏻More

I was treated to a scrumptious lunch by my super friend in Corks Cafe and Wine Bar! I had to say to the lovely ladies on duty that day what a gorgeous meal they had served us both! We polished off everything on our plates...shamelessly! So easy to get to, in a lovely corner spot in Ashbourne - well within walking distance of the free Multi-storey Parking on the High Street. Definitely look forward to returning when next I'm in town!More

Great for a long lazy lunch. 5 minute walk from Ashbourne town centre. Highly recommend parking in the town centre and walking to Corks as parking is extremely limited

What can I say really other than if you are looking for a well portioned, non greasy breakfast with good service then Corks is the number 1 choice.

Popped in for a quick bite at 6pm on a Saturday night. The pate starter was lovely , the bread was nice and Cumberland sauce moreish. My beef main was slightly bland and didn't seem to know what it wanted to be.
