I have to admit I have never been to the Duck but I have heard good things, but then I have also heard bad things. I heard the food was amazing, but then I heard it was horrible I heard the service was amazing, but then I heard it was horrible So I don't really know what to say.

Hi we visited this pub on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing but still found a table and 4 chairs. I like live music in a pub and wasn't disappointed. The staff are very prompt and service is always very quick. The night we were there they had a George Michael tribute. He was very good. Great night had... More

I ordered the roast chicken and ham. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were reheated in the microwave and crumbled apart, and the vegetables were clearly cooked from frozen. The chicken and ham were average, nothing special. However, the service was quick but definitely would not visit again.

Lads the Duck is back, if your into racing and the crack the front bar is for you, the Guinness is top class and at €4.10 which is a steal for a place so close to Dublin. Food is also top class and the steak on the stone is back. Also the have live music at the weekends and the... More

Went to The Duck, formerly Mucky Duck, on the main street of Celbridge for drinks with a few couples. It looked like the new management has kept the cozy feel whilst sprucing up the place a bit. Comfy couches, the Guinness was good.

Myself and my lovely wife went in to The Duck for Sunday lunch after Mass. The staff were very helpful. We had dinner which was a little bigger than a lunch. Food was fresh and lovely and tasted like more.

Myself & my wife Philomena recently enjoyed a fabulous meal in the Duck.. Our waitress brought our food out it was a work of art. The place itself was very clean & the staff where very friendly & had a great knowledge of what food was on the menu... We both really enjoyed the food & most importantly the atmosphere... More

Great atmosphere great music and the food is good too, if your in the duck you don't pay for parking however if you leave your car there you will get clamped, all in all though great place to meet up with friends

Went back to the now "Mucky" Duck. Still service is poor. The food is an improvement but still not the standard of some of the other places to eat in Celbridge. The parking is a joke! Charging people with the luck of not getting clamped. Overall would never step foot in the place again.

So glad to see that The Duck (as it has now been rebranded) has gotten back to what it does so well. There was always a great buzz about this place but if I'm not mistaken it was somewhat hobbled by the lovely people of NAMA for the last several years. The punters went elsewhere and the atmosphere dried up.... More
