Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the best Greek/Mediterranean food I've eaten outside of Greece. The owner is very nice and offers you a sample while you wait. The price is very good, and if I lived within walking distance I'd eat here every day.

Stopped in for dinner, 2 of us, around 630 and place was empty. People were missing out on really good food. Location and building condition are not tops but the food makes up for all else. Wonderful owner (also cook, server, clean-up etc.) was grateful...for the business and served HUGE portions. Beef koffa and chicken/lamb combo were both tasty. Super glad we went and will return. About $35 for both meals plus bottled drinks. Very fair for the amount of food.More

Wow, the food at this place was almost too much! In town for five days and ate here twice. The chops were massive and delicious, and the gyro platter was so good I plan on hitting this place every time I pass through. Place is...rough around the edges, but the food is worth a try!More

The owner serves some of the best Gyro’s I have ever ate. Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. Hole in the wall sort of area but that’s where the best food usually comes from. Should be a six star rating.

The owner is a great guy, he gives us samples of gyro while we wait as he makes our delicious food to order. He keeps everything super clean and has a great health dept rating. Fresh veggies and rice cooked perfectly. You have to stop...in and see for yourself. Enjoy!More

I go here at least 2-3 times a month. The owner/operator is a humble, quality conscious, proud of his food, Man of Egyptian decent. It may not look like much when you walk in, but the food is extremely good and very reasonably priced. Always...the same results... a happy, full, family!!! Thank you Basha!!More

Is there such a thing as too much food? A different taste, healthy, and with a good price. The food is actually Egyptian. Similar but slightly different than Greek and other Mediterranean They have healthy choices and the food is cooked per order but worth...the wait. Lebanon is full of fast food chain restaurants so try this place if you want something different without driving to Nashville.More

We eat here often and love it. We had no idea what we were missing. Pride and caring go into their cooking and creation of the dishes served. We will continue to frequent this hidden gem. Don't let the secret out!

This is my 6th visit and my husband's third visit. It is a one man show by the owner he takes your order and does the cooking too. The place is spotless. The food is amazing!! I have never had a bad meal. One time...the wait was long but it was because a gentleman had a $75 order and like I saod it is a one man show. The price points on the items are extremely reasonable and the food is fresh. If you like Mediterranean seasoned food this is the place. Also, the Turkish coffee is soooo delicious. A real gem in Lebanon. The owner takes real pride and when we tell him how great his food is he really smiles and is pleased.More

A friend and I went to Al Basha Lounge recently and tried out the gyros; he got the sandwich and I got the plate. The food was good; however, the service was slow (about 20 minutes from order to table). I do not know if...this is typical, since it is our only visit. I don't THINK there is another gyro place in Lebanon. So-- if you have the TIME, I believe you'll like it!More

Saw this down the street after visiting the farmers market-hoped it would be ok. There was one gentleman behind the counter who took our order and cooked everything right there in front of us. I was amazed. That was the best chicken shawarma and lamb...gyro I've had in a long time. Heck even the fries I ordered for the kids were done to perfection. The ingredients they used in their preparation were fresh and we were really happy to find such a gem!More

Stopped in expecting not so great food, but was looking for the change with the food choices in Tennessee. We found this Mediterranean place. The gyros -- lamb and fish were excellent; the falafels were freshly made, per order. Bring your appetite because they give...you a lot of food! The owner and guys working the back were really friendly and very accommodating. Great place for price and especially great food!More
