Had a lovely meal here. €15 for two course meal. Baghis were fresh and tasty. It was busy and some people had to wait. I had prawn curry (spicy) and it was quite hot! But very tasty. The rice was perfect light and fluffy! Would...definitely come here again.More

Came here for a meal before a performance in the nearby Amharclann Gweedore. Three of us really enjoyed the surroundings and especially the food. Superb Thali for two of us and a vegetable curry with a couple of starters. Great selection of taste and variety...of dishes with the Thali and excellent value. Highly praised by our friend who had lived in Bangladesh. Will return. Thanks.More

Where we live there is no Indian restaurant so, without hesitation, we headed here - we were not disappointed! Being 'starved' of Indian food we went for a set menu with starter etc - this wasn't the best idea simply because there's so much great...food to eat. The place is very accessible, right on a cross-roads, and the setting and service were very good indeed. Definitely worth a repeat visit. Thank you!More

Its a very simple place, no fuss, so frills. Totally respectful of balanced nutritious food with amazing flavours. You feel very satisfied when you have finished your meal. We had the Thali which I loved and would recommend to anyone who is trying this type...of food for the first time. They also do takeaway food but I would recommend to eat there.More

We ordered a takeaway for four. While the takeaway menu was quite limited, the food was amazing. Holy good God that Chicken Thali was immense!

Coming from Tipperary, our day began with a hike up Errigal mountain. We had heard about Caife Ganesh and couldn’t wait to finish our day there. We had falafel with hummus and steamed momos for starters. The presentation alone was mouth watering and we could...t wait to get tucked in. The photos speak for itself. We had vegetable curry and chicken curry for mains both of which were very flavoursome. It was like no other I had before. Immediately on my first bite I could tell it was completely fresh ingredients. Every mouthful comprised of many flavours and spices. For dessert we had beetroot and berry cake - and again it was unbelievable. To top it off I had a pomegranate and elderflower drink - 100% organic. Our waitress Rosha was very attentive, smiley and welcoming. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Thank you Caife Ganesh and we will definitely be back very soon!More

After reading about Caife Ganesh we decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. We were looking for some fresh wholesome dinner following a nice scenic drive through Dungloe and Gweedore. The waiting staff were friendly and obliging. A nice touch was...when the owner came to us and explained the many dishes that were on offer, it was clear he had a passion for his food and we knew we could expect authentic Himalayan cuisine. The Thali we tasted was delicious, it was also fantastic to see that vegan and vegetarian customers were well catered for , also great to see that all the food was cooked fresh. A meal for four of us including starters and mains, dessert, tea coffee and beer was very reasonably priced (circa €100 for 4). We will definitely be making a return visit.More

Had a beautiful lunch and a few dinners in Caife Ganesh over the last few weeks. Highly recommend the food and the service. Beautiful location and freindly and informative staff. Even managed to get myself a beautiful cashmere scarf from Nepal.

Visited today for coffee, tea and lunch, lovely quirky cafe with an interesting, healthy, home made menu, suitable for vegetarian and vegan. Excellent customer service from the lovely blond lady from Loughanure! Reasonably priced. Definitely return and would like the try some of the spicy...dishes at night time. And cake!More
