This is my stop for Krystals and fuel between Chatt and CLT. I prefer it to the one at the Pigeon Forge exit simply because it's so much easier to access and get back on the road again. And with the usually cheap fuel right there, it makes perfect sense for a stop. So the location is the hook here.... More

Having moved away from Krystal territory, I am always elated to see the first Krystal when I am heading into Tennessee. This particular Krystal is staffed by really nice people and they are always eager to help me get a senior deal. Nasty little sliders basically. It was just a quick eats stop but we would not go there again. Food was not all that warm and at first we were actually given the wrong order.
I guess Krystal is an acquired taste. It's a White Castle style burger sliders kind of place. I like the chili and keep coming back to Tennessee just to go to Krystal for chili. Breakfast is cooked to order, not pre made off a shelf. 2 eggs, grits, sausage, toast - I think it's three bucks. Nice little fast food... More
