The place was loud; the waitress was loud, slow, and doesn't know how to serve; the food took forever to come and was completely uninspiring; the very nice quality table rose was the best thing to say about the evening. The chairs were so hard...my rear and back hurt before the meal even came.More

This visit was our first to Savelli's. We were looking for authentic Italian experience. We did not have reservations nor did we know this is a "Bring Your Own" wine or beer establishment. Upon arrival, we were greeted by less than inspiring ambiance (curtains placed...from the ceiling to chair level to separate tables) A hostess arrived to ask if we had reservations... no... Oh! She found us a table (the place was near empty) and we waited. The service was slow but we finally ordered a Brooklyn pizza for my date and ravioli with bolognese sauce. My sauce was extremely acidic and the ravioli over cooked. The pizza had way too much cheese and the crust was soggy. While the place slowly filled up with customers, the hostess/waitress was the only worker we saw. We had told her we are new to the area and this was our first visit, we did not feel welcomed. All in all we are glad this small restaurant is getting business but we were less than impressed with both the food and the service.More

My husband and I ate here Wednesday and it was wonderful. The garlic bread is to die for. I had the fried calzone and it was very good. Never had it fried before. It was so crispy. My huaband had the lasagna. It was piled...high and very good. The sauce was so tasty. We will be going back.More

I had ordered for carryout. After checking the receipt which seemed expensive. We noticed we were overcharged to the tune of 30% over the listed prices. We called back on a Monday and spoke to the owner. She was very rude and said the prices...don't reflect what they charge and she doesn't know how to update her site. She didn't even offer an apology. The food was average at best. Check your receipts before you pay and you would be better off going to Fazoli's for better food!More

Stopped by on Monday afternoon for lunch. Dining room was empty, but staff was preparing take out orders. Greeted promptly by our server. I brought my family who was visiting from Florida. The best meal we had all weekend. The server was very attentive and...made several trips by us to make suggestions and keep our drinks filled. All food was freshly prepared and delicious! Thank you again for an amazing lunch. I will be back soon!More

The veal parmesan, is like shoe leather, should have been a clue when it was drowned in marinara sauce, service was slow, our server passed us a dozen times with nothing, it may have once been best italian restaurant in Knoxville, not anymore

First time ordering for pickup because of the COVID 19 restrictions. We had a craving for Italian (other than pizza) and our usual restaurant has closed. This was our first time eating their food, and we were not disappointed. It was delicious.

We had dinner reservations for a Saturday night for 7:30. We arrived promptly at 7:25, and then stood huddled with 3 other couples at least 10 minutes before anyone checked on who was there or had reservations. 22 minutes after checking on us, we were...escorted to the “ love room”. Don’t go there... it’s a closet located down a little hall past the restroom. Very small table... Lights plugged into wall right behind my husband’s chair. They kept going on/ off if they were bumped. We had water at the table when we arrived. However, after 15 minutes, and not seeing anyone, we looked for the manager, who told us someone would be back to wait on us. Another 10 minutes passed, and still no one showed. We finally got up and left and drove to another restaurant. No one even noticed. I think we would still be sitting there with no service if we had not left. I can’t rate the food because we never had any. I can tell you the service is the worst place I’ve ever been! We won’t return!More

Great small Italian restaurant. The bruschetta was out of this world, so different than any other Italian restaurant that I have been to. The wait staff was very friendly.
