1st time ever going! Had great atmosphere, food was awesome, we had the alligator and was great. Steak, hot wings, fried shrimp, broiled shrimp and sautéed shrimp all was so good! Wait staff was super friendly and accommodating! I would recommend this place and will go back again!

If you love Cajun food then you must eat here. Outstanding catfish in a town that is hard to find fried catfish. Everything I have had there has been great! Family owned and a wonderful staff.

On our way home from Sevierville last week we stopped by Bayou Bay for a late lunch. It is a causal place, clean, orderly and the service was great. We each had fish. Hubby had the regular: fish, fries, slaw and hush puppies. All good. I was impressed with the side dishes, many different veggies. With my fish I chose... More

I visit the Bayou Bay a few times a month. Last week I took some business associates that wanted seafood for dinner. They were not disappointed. Everything was great. One person had a steak and compared it to steaks he had eaten in NYC. The owner is cooking the food so you know it is good.

We travel to New Orleans eveery 2 years because I miss the food.We went here hoping that the food would be Good. The Oysters were small and did not taste real fresh, the Gumbo was not the best either. My wife ate half of her food and said thats all I can eat. That says it all.

We visited on a Saturday night with 2 granddaughters (ages 16 and 9) . We ordered Fried Gator and Hushpuppies for an appetizer. The 9 year old had never had gator, we had to ask her to leave some for us . We tried gumbo , chowder , oyster and shrimp po boys . It was all excellent !

This is our third time to eat here, and each time the service, food, and waiter/waitress have been excellent. The price is a bit extravagant, but the quantity and quality are both worth it. Scallops are the real thing, gumbo is always really good, and the shrimp are very large, prepared well, and the sauces are top notch. Highly recommend... More

I stopped in for lunch and a beer earlier this week, while in South Knoxville. I sat at the bar, but found out they are no longer selling beer. I really like a cold beer with my fish. Oh well. I chose the Chargrilled fish and two sides for $8.99. Although it was Tilapia, it was decent. I had it... More

Seems like bayou bay has been around forever. Considering the avg location, one would figure they'd been out yrs ago. But, still going.. They serve some pretty good Cajun seafood fare. We've tried most items on the menu, with no complaints. Fried shrimp, n gumbo are our favs. The owner is from the bayou, and it shows. Service is usually... More
