Went there with a friend of mine and we loved those hot wings. To top it off we even loved the ribs. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Atmosphere at the restaurant is amazing. Great job to the staff and management for up keeping of the restaurant.

I met a friend for light dinner and was pleased to learn Calhouns offers a veggie plate. It's not on the menu, you have to ask for it! A selection of 3 sides for $8! Excellent value. Service was excellent and attentive. Didn't know until this visit, this was the Original Calhouns!

This restaurant had good food and service. It wasn't too busy on a week-day night; we were taken to a table almost immediately. The food was great. Everything was reasonably priced. There was plenty of parking. Overall, good experience.

Ate here during the lunch hour on a Friday. Service was good and food was timely. Enjoyed the fresh garlic rolls. Our dinner portions were large and everyone enjoyed their food. Do wish there had been more choices on the BBQ sauce. The sauce they offer has a very strong vinegar base.

The best place for ribs in the South.....they are perfect. The slaw is very good and the creamed spinach is wonderful. I love the cornbread with a touch of honey.

I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal or a bad experience at Calhoun's on Bearden Hill (or on the riverfront). Two years in a row, I've gone there for Thanksgiving Dinner, and they've been fantastic in all respects. The people are friendly and easy to deal with. The service is up to par even when the...
