We've been going to Rouxbarb for years for special occasions. One year for my birthday I had the hands-down best steak I've every had. Nothing else can touch it. If you want great food, a warm atmosphere and oh yeah, GREAT FOOD!, go there.
After high expectations based on the experiences of friends we were let down. Atmosphere is intensely artisanal chic and the executive chef visited our table with advice. But alas, most meals were okay at best and the steaks were gristly and not to specifications.
