longtime favorite in Johnson City. Consistent quality and service is a hallmark of this place. Owner walks the floor during busy lunch hour which is always great to see in an establishment. Menu goes beyond BBQ and everything is good.
Great barbecue, best fries in town, yummy baked beans, just right coleslaw all served in a comfortable atmosphere. They know how to do baked potatoes and iced tea exactly right. If you're able to save room for dessert, they have that well covered, too -...More

The BBQ here is very good and although I personally think it needs no sauce, there are a variety of sauces to pick from. In addition there a some very good sides to add to your dining pleasure. Great place for family dining.
this is my favorite Johnson City eatery-great food and service. Not a chain. I love the thin sliced pork platter; the sides are great, esp the beans and salads
