I Tried the steak picoso and chimichangas and they were nicely and quickly served and just enough. It's a... More

We are not a fan of Amigo's. If you are afraid of spicy food then this is the place for you. Not as Mexican as real Mexican food. More of a tex mex place.

We visit Amigo Mexican Restaurant quite often, since Mexican food is something our whole family can agree on. Overall, we like the cheese dip and chips the best at this restaurant compared any other in the Johnson City area (that we have visited.) The menu isn't huge, but it has a nice choice. I usually get a quesadilla or fajitas... More

We used to eat here alot and enjoyed the food. However, the last few times, it seems as if the quality of the food has gone down. I'm not in favor of this restaurant as much anymore.

To start with I read about the family who where unhappy because of the foul mouthed table of women, if you dont like what is going on ask the wait staff to move some where else. man up and take charge, its your family you are the one to take charge. Any way I ordered the chicken burrito, the grilled... More

I just finished a review of Crazy Tomato, a restaurant that I feel has tried to become too mainstream. Amigo isn't much different. Years ago, Amigo was a spicy food serving restaurant. The owner is a great guy, he's really friendly and wants you to enjoy your food. The staff is friendly though some don't speak fluent English. They still... More

My family and I have come to this Amigos on several occasions over the past 7 or 8 years. All-in-all, we have always had a descent experience. Essentially, we know and understand what we are getting into. The food is typically good and the price is fair. That being said, tonight it is not about the food. Tonight it is... More

This is a great restaurant for good Mexican food at a great price and with fast service. Lots of choices and excellent for lunch - you can get in and out in 30 minutes if you need to. I always have the Speedy Gonzales.

We needed a quick lunch while traveling and Amigos was a perfect spot. They had lunch specials on Saturday. I had the lunch chimichanga and my husband created his own plate. Prices were reasonable with large portions. We felt we definitely got good value. Service was fast. Restrooms were clean. We were both very pleased and plan to return.
