I had the baby back ribs and they were so tender and just fell off the bones. They were full of flavor! The BBQ sauce was delicious too. The potato salad is the best I'ver had at a restaurant, yummy. They also come a deviled eggs that were delicious too. The place is a hole in the wall type place... More

What fantastic BBQ.! Fast friendly service, the hot tamales are the best we have ever had (mostly meat with thin light corn exterior). Great surprise as most tamale places are mostly corn and very little meat filling. Be sure to get at least an apatizer of tamales. The pulled pork, ribs, sausage and chicken are all fantastic. Save room for... More

Stopped after recommendation from our hotel. Absolutely wonderful. Have eaten at Corey's and Interstate but this was better. Ribs not dry rub or soaked with sauce. In between and great. Banana pudding was superb. Go here

Memphis understands BBQ and the Commissary is the best you can find. Don't waste your time on Biele.

this is what ribs taste like. while the menu is broad, go here for the ribs. a half rack with sides is plenty but if you really want to pig out, no pun intended, get the whole thing. whatever you do, save room for dessert and get the banana pudding.

Based on recommendations from our hotel and the fact that we wanted something close for BBQ, we went to the Commissary. It is obviously a locals favorite as the takeout and table waiting crowd was huge. It took a good 40 minutes to be seated, so we ordered quickly. Based on more locals recommendations we ordered the ribs, which were... More

My friend is from Memphis and suggested we go here for dinner while visiting. What an awesome little place. Luckily she told us to get there early so we didn't have a wait. It is very small inside but the food is amazing. Our ages ranged from a 1.5 year old to 62 years old. Everyone loved it. Service was... More
