My husband and his brother stopped for lunch at Franklin Mercantile Deli. I ordered the classic BLT with sun dried tomato cream cheese spread and a cup of tomato basil soup. They are open Sunday-Saturday 7:00am-3:00pm on Fourth Avenue downtown Franklin. We were very pleased with the fast service and the helpful staff.

Visiting from out of town. I had 1/2 of a club sandwich and side salad. The sandwich was packed with meat and full of fresh flavor. And when they handed me a bowl for my salad I was surprised to learn that my "side" salad was actually all that I wanted to make it from the salad bar. I found... More

Walked in and was very busy, First time visitor so not sure if we sit down or order at counter. Figured out to go to counter. The menu is all on chalk board so it took some time to figure it out. I thought it was funny all sandwiches are priced the same at $9.25. I ordered Turkey club on... More

We both got the cheese grits bowl. I had bacon and my sister had country ham. Comes with 2 eggs. Mine were overlooked but still delicious. A wonderful dish!

I've been a few times to Franklin Mercantile Co. It's in a perfect spot on the corner, so you can't miss it. I went with my sister & father on this day and they both said the same thing I always do. It's good food, but not great. It is a soup & sandwich place, so I don't think you... More

We found this adorable diner in downtown Franklin. If you love mason jar vintage decor this place is a treat. However, The employees were less than friendly, Chilli was served with a side of Ritz cracker. No cheese, onions, or silverware. The chicken salad lacked flavor and it was overpriced. They were out of the soup of the day and... More

Nice atmosphere and lots of tables inside to eat at. A block of the main drag so not as crazy as some other places. Typical deli fare. Would have liked to see some Southern specials.

Located in lovely Downtown Franklin Historic Shopping District...offered soups/sandwiches/wraps/paninis/salads. Very cute decor, country type decor with old tables/mismatched chairs/etc. Nice little area outside to sit if you want. Down a little side street and not so crowded. All 4 of us had very good lunches. Mables Chicken Salad was good, but could have used a bit of seasoning. Fruit cups... More

Just happened upon this restaurant: Casual deli with a variety of sandwiches and sides. Daily soup special. WiFi available. Order first and they will call you when ready. It is good and expect a wait at peak times.
