Lovely little place! We went on the recommendation of my parents and it was absolutely worth the drive! I had the chicken sandwich and my husband had the steak. The portions were very generous and it was delicious! I don’t think you can get a better steak within 100 miles. I was able to watch John cut the steaks fresh right when they opened, which is hard to find these days. He also chatted with us about the history of the building and some of the photos on the walls. We will absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone!

David and Lori Phelps suggested that we eat here while attending their Labor Day Barn Bash weekend. Not only was the food great, the building has fascinating history and the staff was great too! They were attentive, helpful, and made you feel right at home. The owner was also very personable and is a great cook!

Here you will find an unapologetically American, God-loving and 2nd Amendment supporting staff and customers. You sincerely gain friends the first time you arrive and you get recognized every next time. In a world gone off center in so many ways, this is your down home anchor. Old on the outside, gold on the inside. By all means get to this authentic small restaurant that serves real people's food and offers real people sensibilities.

Excellent Rib-eye Steaks big as the platter they are served on. Also they serve a County Ham slice that large too. They have fish on Fridays and Saturdays too, and you can frog-legs which are heaping if you get the large order. Super friendly place, even with complete strangers speaking to you and asking "Where you from." The owner will visit each table, ask "How's things..."

My wife and daughter treated me to Campbell Station for Fathers Day. I’ve been waiting to try for a while. About a 30 min wait to be expected. My steak was big and cooked just right. My daughter loved the catfish. Staff and owner were very friendly. Would recommend it.

My wife took me out to Campbell Station for my 72nd birthday and I amso glad she did. This was our first time there and it certainly will not be the last time. The food was outstanding, the service was outstanding and the cook really did a great job on my steak. Thank you for all of you for being a big part of my birthday.

Great stop during a weekend drive. Great food, great service, peaceful country setting. I recommend the country fried steak.

The ribeye was excellent and the fried green beans outstanding! The service was excellent and atmosphere was family friendly!
Out in country but well worth trip, go early or expect a little wait but is good just to sit on front porch and enjoy your time.....

Enjoyed a ribeye and the trimmings out in the sticks. Restaurant was bustling post-quarantine. Got lost on the way to this place, but considered it an adventure!

Went to this restaurant for the first time tonight because we had heard wonderful, glowing things about the food. Atmosphere was great. A small country store. Very busy. When my steak arrived at the table I told the waitress it was not cooked properly. She agreed. A moment later she came back to the table and informed me that they were out of steaks and asked if I would like something else. I didn’t.
As we were leaving a couple who were seated about 30 minutes AFTER our food was served had a steak delivered to their table. As I questioned the server about this, the OWNER of the restaurant proceeded to yell at me, and told me it was not a good cut of meat and if I wanted to go to their table and look at it I could. What?!?!?
We went to try this place because of the food. Namely the steaks. What a poor example of business ownership and customer service the OWNER portrayed. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Not only was I disappointed that I couldn’t get what I ordered (and came for) but I was also embarrassed by the owner yelling at me (a customer and total stranger to her) in front of an entire restaurant full of people.

We went for my birthday dinner waited over 2 1/2 hours never got my food... waitress forgot to put order in... a party of 9 got seated before we did and we only had a party of 5
