We rendezvous with family members at the campground and found the sites roomy and nice. Staff was helpful also. Sites could be more level however. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars

We were there early Nov. a little late for colors only because of drought, no rain for 3 months. However still a great hike The park has many trails of different difficulty also has swings, slides and ball fields for the kids. There is good restaurant with a very good lunch buffet, many choices. It a good way to spend an... More

We enjoy going to the Friday lunch fish buffet. If possible, request a table by the large windows.. You see the river below, a rustic stone bridge and many beautiful trees in the state park. Servers are very friendly ! The fried catfish is excellent plus they have grilled as well. Salad bar, soup , roast beef, gravy , mash... More

Quaint little state park where the Civilian Conservation Corp left some charm from the 1930s. Delightful stonework bridge. Decent place to eat and I saw bird wildlife. Noticed they offer paddle boats for summer but I haven't been there in the warm weather.

We just moved to the area & haven't tried many locations so this is one of our first times eating out. the restaurant is very nice, clean & the staff is very friendly. They had a buffet with ribs, brisket & chicken plus sides, everything was very tasty,

The food is served buffet style. The restaurant is very pretty, overlooking the lake. The homemade banana pudding is excellent, the rest of the food is mediocre.

This place was packed so I am certain everyone thinks the food is good. We went with a group so we had reserved seating. The food buffet was really good, several choices, we were there on a Saturday & it was Meatloaf & baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, slaw, carrots, rolls, corn, & a few other items I can't... This is a VERY beautiful and well maintained state park. I have camped in various sections of the park, the most recent area 5. Restrooms were very clean and there was enough separation between sites that I had privacy. We had one meal at the restaurant in the park. The food was average buffet quality food.

Nice park with a small lake. They rent canoes and kayaks. Bath houses are older but kept clean. Book early on the holiday weekends
