I was out searching for some good sushi and went here to discover it was closed. As a matter of fact many of their locations are closed. Go to "Osaka" on poplar, they have Great Sushi and its a great atmosphere.

I ordered the sashimi and crispy tuna roll. The sashimi was presented very well but didn't have much flavor. The crispy tuna was actually better for texture and taste. The atmosphere was very modern with low quality appointments. The chopsticks are about as cheap as you can get. I've had better. But the sake was good!

I've already eaten at the other locations but am always willing to give a place another try. This location was the worst. Lackluster inside with lots of flies. The sushi was "okay" but nothing special. I'm still trying to figure out why Memphians like this place so much. We will not be back.

I usually stop in for lunch. Sushi is fresh and quickly prepared. Great for a quick lunch. Always neat and clean environment.

Don't let the seemingly cheap building/location fool you. We almost left because it just looks like a sandwich shop. Glad we didn't...probably the best sushi we've ever had. My husband is STILL talking about the food!

I eat here whenever I make a trip to Memphis. Excellent sushi. Fish is very fresh with a big selection of rolls. The rolls themselves are also large so I always end up eating too much. The service is also excellent.

Went for lunch with my girls (6 & 8). Edamame was hot and just the right amount of salt. We also had miso soup and rolls. Reasonably priced. Quick and very pleasant service.

I travel frequently and around the globe but Sekisui ranks with the best sushi I have had anywhere. The service is excellent, the food tastes and looks great, great presentation. The fish is extremely fresh. Each time I am in Memphis I try to make a trip here.

Tried this place out to use a buy one get one coupon (which they did not accept anyway) and was completely disappointed. Low quality sushi in an establishment that looks run down and was obviously a fast food joint previously. Will not be going back, but why would you when there is Rain, Thai Bistro, Green Bamboo, and Ishushi all... More

I travel frequently and I like my sushi. Sekisui has, hands down, the best sushi I have had in the States. It's an amazing find especially located in Memphis of all places. They have an amazing list of specialty rolls and their sashimi is also superb. Love the service too.

At Sekisui Cordova, sushi chefs don"t just push the envelope; they put the envelope through the paper shredder. Chefs are encouraged to show off their creativity and listen to customer's ideas, creating sushi rolls that can't be found anywhere else. Also, purists will be delighted with the exhaustive lineup of nigiri sushi - perfectly sliced fish atop a mound of rice seasoned with vinegar, sugar and a touch of sake. The restaurant's fresh fish is flown in several times a week from locations such as Hawaii, Louisiana, and Los Angeles. There's something to please everyone. The extensive menu covers lots of familiar Japanese cuisine territory with teriyaki, tempura and udon noodles. Lively and noisy might not be typical descriptions of most Japanese restaurants, but the words fit Sekisui Cordova. As it is always full of familiar faces, Sekisui is a popular neighborhood hang-out.
