This is a terrific, older restaurant in Cookeville, but it still has it's charm. My wife and I have been coming here off and on for over fifteen years. Great, tried and true recipes and portions that won't leave you hungry. My wife always enjoys...More

Good food, good service. Staff are engaging attentive and service is timely. Food is always excellent. They usually have live music outside on Friday nights and it is a good place to hang out with friends. Pretty low key place, good vibes.

Great spot! Everyone so friendly. Met a number of locals. Bartender, Steve was very engaging and made a solo stranger feel at home. Oh, incredibly diverse menu! May be our hangout once we move in September.

We went to Spankies for the first time with a friend and had a very good meal. I had the Sashimi tuna and my husband had the Grouper Diane and both were well prepared. It's definitely a bar atmosphere with TV's blaring. There is dining...More

Spankies is the place to be in Cookeville on Tuesday nights. They also have cheesy bread that's to die for.

Great local spot. Staff is friendly and food is terrific. Highly recommend! Have been here for dinner and also just to watch sports. Works great for both.

We ate here on the advise of the woman at DelMonaco Winery. Kind of a "Hole in the wall" place (in a good way). Very cool rustic barnwood interior! Lots of character! The food was very good and the prices were excellent! A little hard...More

Loved the fish and chips, the bread. We always have to stop in and pick up the spinach dip to take to out-of-town friends. Nice selection on the menu, great service and drinks.
