We always like to hit the "don't judge a book by its cover eateries ". The owners were superior nice. The smoked pulled pork was excellent with plenty of sides to choose from. The ribs were very good! Prices were great. I highly recommend Moogie's.

Great BBQ for the price. My favorite is the Wing and Rib Combo. Moogie's has a unique flavor. The wings are nice and crispy on the outside and the ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender. I get mine with no-sauce as I prefer just the smoky flavor of the meat. The folks that run the place are nice, but they keep busy.... More

Got there one hour before closing and staff made us eat outside so she didn't have to clean dining area. (She told us that). They were out of ribs. Got pulled pork sandwiches with sides and drinks. Also wings because they have a good review for them. Food wasn't bad tasting but my pork was cold so I didn't eat... More

From time to time I go to Moogie's for lunch and it always hits the spot. It is not the best I have ever had but it is good overall. I usually get the same thing every time which is the BBQ chicken tenders with the potato salad and a sweet tea. All are very good in my opinion. I... More

I have eaten enjoyable BBQ in Tennessee. This is not enjoyable. Staff was not interested. Ordered ribs to go. Meat pulled off bone ok, but sauce was flat almost tasteless.

This is a great little place for lunch. A little off the beaten path, but close to downtown and campus. I've had the loaded Bbq potato which is excellent. I've also had the wings and Bbq sandwich and both were very good.

Order your sandwich without sauce (or on the side) and you'll get a nice, smoked bbq pork flavor. The sweet tomato based sauce just overpowers the good meat flavor. The sweet cole slaw was a pleasant change from regular slaw while the baked beans were tasty. In all a good meal, even better without drenching it in sauce. Seating is... More

I am not normally a BBQ for a meal type person so to say not only did I love the sauce - ribs and wings that was my meal but also I cannot wait to go back for more. The ribs were large with plenty of meat and flavor. This place is not much to look at you can dine... More
