Always exciting heading North along the Snowbird trail. Much better bird to now be found in Doomadgee......Australia’s tastiest chicken - Rosie’s.

Luxury accommodation: do not go past staying here. All facilities in rooms are quality, down to fully kitted out kitchenette. I was a female travelling alone on business and Danny, the female assistant manager was so supportive, friendly, caring and efficient. An oasis and retreat....Thank you for my very comfortable stay. I look forward to returning.More

We stayed at the roadhouse for a night on our trip across the Savannah Way, from Broome to Cairns. We had driven from King Ash Bay that morning and after a hot and dusty drive, we got a pleasant surprise with the lovely accommodation. Fresh...and clean rooms and very helpful staff. We would recommend the roadhouse to anyone passing through.More

The Doomadgee Roadhouse is without a doubt the best place to eat in Doomadgee. Jenny and Clyde, the owners, are fantastic and they and their team deliver good old fashioned country service. You can get super fresh hot and cold food all day long and...I really recommend the burgers. There is also the usual chips, drinks, chocolates etc, non-perishable foods, cleaning products, toiletries and car products. Whether you need fuel for your tummy or your vehicle, the Roadhouse is the best place in Doomadgee to get it!More
