Who sells Japanese Wagyu/Kobe beef for $60?! Everything was well seasoned and plated in a great atmosphere. Worth every penny. I wore dark jeans and while many were dressed much nicer, I felt at home.

Tripadvisor is a great site but it has its limitations. For instance what to do when 5 stars simply isnt enough... St johns was an experience, not just a meal. Menu is sophisticated with a wine list to make one blush. The bread stops you in your tracks. The salad tops the bread. The antelope and lamb top the salad.... More

Having eaten at St. John's annually for about 7 years, I can say that every single meal has been delicious with wonderful service and great atmosphere. The filet is always perfection. The seasonal offerings are always worth a try, and I get the lobster salad every time it is on the menu. Although it is a fine dining establishment, we... More

Elegant, crisp, atmosphere with a 1920s modern vibe of polish and sophistication. We dined here with local friends, who frequent St. Johns regularly, while visiting Chattanooga on business. We also ate a Hennens which is a good, solid everyday option, but St. Johns was the clear winner, a step above in refinement and sophistication. Elegant service that compliments the epicurious... I went to celebrate my birthday. From start to finish every staff member made this a special evening. The food was outstanding. I had free range chicken with gnocchi and butternut squash...it was amazing. My husband had pork shank with kale. He said it was the most tender pork he has had in a restaurant and great flavor. You cannot... More

Food was great and service was exceptional. The chef, Rebecca came out and spoke with us and even gave us a tip on where to eat the next night and she was spot on! The roasted filet was probably the best steak I have ever eaten. Misty (our server) was knowledgeable and did a great job. It was our 35th... More

Just passing through Chattanooga, TN and used TA to find a good restaurant. We were well directed, and fully enjoyed St. John's. Bartender knew how to make a good Old Fashion.

I DECIDED TO UPDATE MY REVIEW TO KEEP IT CURRENT! This restaurant never fails to impress! The last several visits I sat at the bar, where they serve the full menu but you don't need a reservation, as long as they have seats!! Best food, service and ambiance there is to be had!

This is the 2nd time we've been to St. John's Restaurant. It is wonderful again. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They offered great advice and our meal was spectacular.
