I had the trout and my husband had the filet. It was possibly the best filet we've ever had! The atmosphere is very nice as well and the service is first rate!

We love celebrating special events with the fine dining experience at the St John. I have always judged the food at a restaurant from the bread they serve and theirs has never disappointed. Their food always delights and surprises us.

Forgot the most important part of my answer - the owner came by and introduced himself . He seems especially nice. Bet if you contact him in advance, he will help you plan a special evening!

When in doubt, I would just call them and ask, but I would make a reservation. Even IF it's usually unnessary, you never know what large group might walk in and fill up the table you would have had.😉 Our dinner was a good... More
