Food was fair, place is a dump that you order from a counter, no waitress service. Annoying music. Won't be back.

Put on the brakes, people. We keep hearing the word "authentic", but that has generally meant a) ingredients are freshly made; b) they traditionally represent the culture and ethnicity and c) there is a unique fusion and presentation. There beans and tortillas are from a can and package. As a gringo, I had to explain to the lady the many... More

Hands down, our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant in Chattanooga! If you are looking for run of the mill American Mexican food, Taco Roc is not your choice. But if you are looking for fresh, authentic Mexican food, then look no further! From the fruity Agua Frescas, to the salsa and condiment bar with onions, cilantro, limes, peppers and an array... They charge for chips, salsa, and refills... It's fairly expensive for what you get... It's suppose to be "authentic" but I couldn't really tell a difference... Not my favorite

We first noticed Taco Roc when it was nothing more than a food truck on the side of the road. At lunch time the line of Latin-Americans lined up was a (figurative) mile long. We decided they probably knew a good thing when they tasted one. When Taco Roc opened a permanent location we tried it. The food was indeed... More

The food was AVERAGE at best. I grew up eating my mother's Mexican cooking, and this food is far from authentic. To be honest the woman who took our order was very rude and seemed bothered that we were there. Couldn't tell if she was having a bad day or is unfortunately just stuck with that look on her face!... The salsa and guacamole were outstanding. Was a little disappointed in the bbq pork burrito, but I have never had a bbq burrito before. It would have been good if I ordered chicken, beef, or something I was familiar with. The building is not that inviting, but the food makes up for it.

I can't believed I waited so long to come here! Great authentic mexican food just as it should be. No chain restaurant food here. You can tell these folks take pride in their food.

I ate here a couple of years ago and was in the area so I came back and was not disappointed. They have a large menu to select from...I had the #7 Enchiladas, chicken, it comes with rice and refried beans, picture attached. It's very good...they also have a side bar so you can add sauces, onions, peppers or whatever... More

We keep going back because the food is good, and very reasonably priced. Taco Roc isn't fancy, but the guacamole is made fresh on-site, the tacos are tasty, and the beer is cold.
