The fried is wonderful!! They also have tamales which are the best I've ever eaten. If you haven't visited you must try it soon. Forty's of just about any beer and fried chicken what a great combination.

I saw all the people eating at Champy's and I had to stop. There is a good reason for all the folks - the food is great. I had the famous chicken meal at a really reasonable price. They do a crawfish boil that looked...More

I've been to Champy's multiple times, including the week they opened. This place does not disappoint with good service and great food. Good for lunch, the patio is nice in the springtime....

The outside doesn't look inviting but inside the decorations are definitely 80s minus money tips of course and 40 oz coozies. This is all-fried food and if your looking for healthy go somewhere else. But delicious. I ordered the chicken finger basket and received 4...More

Fun environment and the food was pretty good. I was surprised though, I thought the fried chicken would be a little better than it was. Still a good time.

After reading the reviews we were excited to go to Champy's to get some good Southern fried chicken. After our experience, we cannot help but wonder where those people ate. First the good...the only good.....the server was pleasant and the baked beans, potato salad and...More

I honestly didn't think the food was that great . A trip to Popeyes or bojangles would have did the trick. Chicken must be cooked in pork Grease tastes like old bacon grease. The servings are big but its pricy !

49 is large; best to call and ask. Arrangements might be possible at Lee Highway location. Time of your event could be a factor as well. Kitchen will definitely need advance notice as that’s A LOT of people...and chicken!!
