Good family restaurant in the middle of Chapel Hill, TN. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in service and excellent country cooking. Very casual environment. Great Saturday morning breakfast!

If you want a great country breakfast at a low price, this place is perfect! Pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, all very yummy and cute coffee cups.

Very reasonable prices, a daily meat and three special with country cooking, all you can eat catfish on Friday, have never had a bad meal there weather it was burger and fries, meat and three or catfish!

While staying at Henry Horton State Park, locals recommended this place for breakfast. You could easily pass this place by. The unadventurous might never get past the front door pictured below. I was in a group of six. Two coaches and four wrestlers. Our kids just gravid two tables and pulled them together. The customers have is some side glances... More

We stopped in here for a late lunch after my son's football game in Chapel Hill last Saturday. We were the only people in the restaurant and we sat for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us. Menus were ragged and literally covered in grease. Two other individuals came in after we did and received similar slow service. A man... More

We've lived in Chapel Hill, TN for 2 years now and just tried out the country diner. We went for breakfast with our kids on a Sunday morning. For the price, you cannot beat this place! The ladies that run it and serve were sweet and the food was good! It's shabby looking, the tables and chairs don't match and... More

Passing through Chapel Hill, we decided to stop here for lunch one day. I wish we'd have kept driving. The place was packed, so we figured it must be good. Wrong! The waitresses were so busy talking (gossiping) to each other, loudly, it took several minutes before we were acknowledged. We decided on burgers and fries, and after trying to... More
