We had an excellent dining experience here. The prime rib was amazing and the dressing choices were unique to try for something new. Friendly wait staff, overall great place to eat.

Family-owned, fine dining in small towns like Yankton are already a thing of the past. Drive through most rural communities, and you'll be lucky if you get something more than gas station pizza or generic chain hamburgers. Yankton retains a couple quality haunts that harken back to days gone by- Charlie's Pizza, Tastee Treat to name a few- but the... More
I wanted to like the restaurant. The service was friendly and polite, but unable to prepare a whiskey sour for my wife. The homemade salad dressing (thousand island) was ketchup and mayo stirred together. The baked potato was served with. Table side flourish where the waiter cut it open through the foil leaving me with the job of picking aluminum... More
Having dined at this family-run restaurant many times over 30+ years of visits to Yankton, I can say that the facility has not changed in all that time, and it looks a bit dated inside. Likewise, the staff has changed very little in that same time, and they too are a bit tired. Even so, the staff can be very... More
Omg this place is outstanding!! I've eating here with my family many of times!! The steak, salad & those salad dressing keeps us coming back!! And we have never had bad service! I would recommend this place to anybody!
Over priced, poor service, and the term mediocre is a compliment. This restaurant may have had a good reputation, we don't know! A friend of ours asked why the restaurant was getting so many bad reviews? Our friend si he... More

One guy I worked with said that's how it was 30 years ago, the last time I ate there was 10 years ago, and then again last week, and it's still the same. I do not mind the slowness, even... More
We had driven past the sign for this restaurant many, many times and always said we had to try it sometime. Finally last Friday the time was right as our favorite local steakhouse was closed unexpectedly. We walked in to a nearly empty place at 7:30 on a Friday night. Three other couples were there. Bad sign - we should... More
Nice folks, service was in need of a motorized chair. Bartender was thinking about how to mix screwdriver, maybe with her years and years of experience she just plain forgot. Age does that we find out, steaks wow $$$#$$ cuts not so wow. Very very different, being close to a stock yard I expected different, I was wrong. Most things... More
