Nice ambience, including the music. Excellent biscuits and gravy and coffee. Also had their breakfast sandwich which was very good. Prompt and friendly service

High quality coffee, delicious creme filled pumpkin muffin in a nice setting. Better know the address cuz it is tucked behind greenery but worth the effort to find. Bargain compared to LA prices we live with. Small college town seems like a cool place...will go back if traveling to the area again.

The place is very pretty. An old house remodeled giving a good ambience. You can sit outside under big trees.

Inside and out, this place is great. If the weather had been nice we would have enjoyed the big front porch or the cafe tables scattered in the nice landscaping. Having to eat indoors wasn't a hardship however, because this converted house is adorable. After reading others' reviews I opted for a vanilla nut bagel with honey almond cream cheese.... More

Was very convenient for us. Right across from our hotel. Went there every morning. Yummy homemade pastries and quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Loved sitting on the porch, drinking coffee!

I want to tell you about how great the food was, but I can't. I was unable to get anything from the place. While they say they are open at 6 am, I was there at about 6.20 and NO ONE was around. Not that they just weren't open, the place was completely empty. Work on that people!!

From the moment we parked and walked towards the Green Bean a few years ago, we felt welcomed and relaxed. We are not from SD, but when we are in Spearfish, this is where we stop every morning. There are spots to sit throughout the yard and a covered porch with tables and chairs. There are different rooms and cozy... More

Had breakfast here after an overnight in Spearfish. Coffee was delicious, and the breakfast croissant, which offered choice of both meat and cheese as well as croissant/biscuit, was also delicious. My sister splurged on a brownie, and reports that it was also delicious. We left feeling completely satisfied. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and inviting. Go there! You'll be... More
