Stopped in for lunch and they only had two items on the menu, tamales and pork carnitas. My daughter got a tamale and enjoyed it. My husband and I shared the carnitas since it was $14.99 a plate. There was more than enough for two and it was very good. There were two women working there and they were friendly... More

Stopped in Hill City to see the wonderful museum and Rico's was recommended by museum employee. We enjoyed our lunch with great tasting burritos. The very friendly owner was the waitress, the cook, and she handled bussing tables. It wasn't crowded and she did a commendable job. (Could see where staffing might be a problem if the place was full.)... More

We stopped for lunch and though it was noon, there was only one server. We suspected she was also handling the kitchen because 2 other tables filled up and it took about 45 minutes to get out food. It was bland, smothered with cheddar cheese and just about as fast food Tex Mex as could be.

Server was friendly. Small interior but service was very slow. The chips and salsa, chips and cheese were expensive. Cheese was canned nacho cheese and chips were greasy, some with no salt and others with way too much. Lemonade and iced tea were not good, barely any ice in glass so it wasn't cold on top of it. Our food... More

Nice place. Service was good and fast. The food was a bit bland without much flavor. Kind of pricey for what we got but understand it is in a tourist town.

I had the bean tostadas and a tamale. The refried beans here are very tasty. This place exceeded my expectations for Mexican food in this area. Service was quick. The place is small and there were only two ladies doing all the work when we went. I will certainly eat here again when I am craving Mexican food in the... More

I had a smother burrito, the smallest I have ever seen. Served on disposable plates with plastic forks and knives. Three in our party and none of us were satisfied with the food and two of our forks broke. One guy ordered an iced tea, but their tea was frozen for some reason. So there was a block of frozen... The fact that there are any stars are because the server was very nice and friendly. We arrived into town during the dinner rush and walked up and down looking for a fairly quiet place (not the bar crowd) that wasn't terribly busy. We had children with us and they were very hungry! At our table, we ordered beef tacos... More
