We saw the billboard for "best steak in Deadwood" and I think it's accurate. The steaks were great, the ambiance was good and we totally enjoyed our meals.

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of one of the casino staff. The food was FANTASTIC! Everything was prepared to our liking and the service staff was very attentive. Wife had a ribeye steak and she too was pleased.

nice atmosphere, timing of food was good. Good food but a little disappointed in their ribeye steaks....they were a little tough. Servers were all pleasant and nice.

The steak in the Gem is very good, the service was wonderful. One of the best meals on our 8 day trip from Bismarck, ND. to Glendive, MT. to Orlando, FL. Looking forward to visiting again on a real vacation trip.

If I could give this place less stars I would. People walking in without reservations were seated before us. The steaks were some of the worse our party of four have had in a long time. The prime rib was “meh” at best however it...More

We didn't make one and got right in. But we were there on a Sunday night. I would probably try if you are going on a busier night. Some places in Deadwood don't take reservations though. So I am not sure.
