We had not eaten at the Anchor Grill for awhile so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is small town cafe. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. I had the hot hamburger with mashed potatoes and gravy. Definitely comfort food! Their menu is very traditional but did include wraps and Mexican dishes too. We will be... More

Not many choices in Chamberlain but was intrigued by the name and rating. This is very much a home style cooking. We went with a group of 10 hunters and when into the big room just in front of the Ship Wreck bar. The stocked the salad bar was a really nice change of pace. Fresh crisp salads and toppings.... Staying in Chamberlin for the night and arrived late. Had been running on Mountain time all day and the change set us forward an hour for dinner. We arrived a half hour before closing and we were treated with amazing service and great food. Steak was cooked perfect. Nice home cooking taste.

When we travel, we try to avoid chain restaurants as much as possible and live by winner's reviews. TA had good ratings and we agree the food was good. I had the pretzel roll burger with chipotles mayo and bacon. It was deli ious, if sloppy to eat. The fries that came with it were also very good. My husband ordered... More

We had breakfast and the food was very good. Coffee a little weak. Service by gum chewer. The loud motor noise of one of their coolers was annoying which really resulted in the lower score. On a strange note the women's toilet was up on a pedestal 😂.

First of all I want to thank you for stopping the humming you heard was a beer cooler those coolers aren't cheap and soon as I can I'll be replacing it I hate that humming noise also for the women's toilet it's a strange thing but the building is old when they put that toilet in there they ran plumbing... We decided to stop in downtown Chamberlain on our trip from Rapid City across the state...My husband remembered a place he had eaten 40 years ago while at a meeting in Chamberlain. We went there and it was open, although the name had changed!! We both ordered a sandwich and fries....He loved his chicken sandwich and sidewinder potatoes. I asked... More

We were recommended by a young fellow at our hotel, so we went there for dinner and then again for breakfast. The food was good both times. The portions could be a little smaller.
