This was a spur of the moment decision. I had eaten here many years ago and wanted to try it again. This is a wonderful Italian restaurant with a great view of downtown Columbia. We went in without a reservation and were able to be seated at a window table, but we were early. This usually requires a reservation. The... More

This is a fine dining restaurant. The prices are a bit more than the average restaurant but the food is most definitely worth every penny spent! Nice quiet romantic atmosphere. Going out for a special occasion with that special person in your life? This place is the place to go!

The food was very good as was the service. Enough choices on menu without being overwhelming. The view is excellent so it makes for a great atmosphere for dinner.

Extremely good traditional italian dishes served with care in a setting with a metropolitan view. The Veal Saltimbocca is highly recommended.

First time visiting after being out of the area for a number of years. Still great food, service, and atmosphere. Everything is good! We had crispy fried flounder, pan fried scallops, and lump crab cake. All was great but the praline ice cream desert topped the evening off.

Everything Looks wonderful, but my personal favorite is the Pasta a la Al. It has shrimp, lobster, scallops and pasta stuffed with a creamy mixture, in a mildly spicy tomato cream sauce. The Al's salad is a great starter, and my favorite dessert is the fruit cup in a praline shell which is perfect. Service is almost always excellent, although... More

We rolled into Columbia, even though we were supposed to be two hours south of where we stopped. We found a brochure for Al's at the hotel we were staying at and decided to go. First, we liked the quaint exterior, and then the inside was just as good. They served local beer, which I like, and that was just... More
