So glad that this is not a fancy place for snobs. This is a fish camp, exactly as advertized. Uncomplicated service and great food. My preference is to pick a non-fried item: they put effort in getting the freshest seafood, tastes best just broiled with...More

Passed bye a number of times and always looked full but got lucky last week.. straight into seating outdoors. Wonderful atmosphere, very pleasant server. Most importantly the food was excellent. I had the blackened catfish.... cooked to perfection. Will definately return.

This place is full of character. Small, cramped seating areas with inside and outside dining. Outside is screened. Plenty of fans to shuffle the hot air around. Food and service are excellent. We were there on a busy Sunday for lunch and had to sit...More

Tried this place based on TA reviews but left unimpressed. The food quality was just average for the 2 dishes we ordered, shrimp and grits and the scallops. The seafood was overpowered by the seasoning in both cases, the grits were flavorless and the hush...More

The place was hoppin' The inside is rather small and if you hope to have a private table, probably not going to happen. The inside is made up of an "L" shaped counter with seats and long tables to seat several people, your group and...More

We discovered the Lowcountry Fish Camp within the past few months and have been there several times. The food there is awesome! It's a small restaurant, but there's also seating outside as well. It's the kind of place the locals love to go, hang out...More

My husband and I just moved to Charleston and are really enjoying finding great local ‘under the radar’ spots. This one definitely delivers! Small, rustic, cozy, friendly and our food was delicious. The key lime pie was as good as I’ve ever had.
