The employees were arguing with the cooks and tossing swear words around in the middle of the restaurant....WITH KIDS AROUND! Waited 50 mins for food.Place was filthy and smelt odd. By the time we got our food,it was cold. But once we took it home and reheated it,it was pretty good.

Walking back in time! This is not a fancy restaurant. When entering it takes you back to the sixty 's. the service is great and so is the food! We had scrambled eggs, bacon inlet, country ham, grits, home fries and wheat toast. All were great . Reason for the 4 star is that theirs no biscuits! Would definitely go... More

Over the past year and a half I have visited Papa's quite a few times, and it never fails to hit the spot. Some friends and I decided to brave the snow to grab some late breakfast, and decided Papa's would be the perfect spot especially since Papa's serves breakfast all day long. In addition, Papa's is open 24/7, which... More

We have eaten breakfast at Papa's Breakfast Nook many times in the past but never lunch. Today we thoroughly enjoyed the hamburger steak smothered in grilled onions with home fried potatoes. Our meal came with Texas toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Even though they were quite busy after church on Sunday, our meals came out right away.... More

We stayed in Spartansburg for a wedding and went to Papa's the first day while we waited to check in to our hotel. It was so good that we went back the next two days for breakfast. I got the same thing 3 days in a row, my wife got something different each day. The second day, the service was... More

We've stopped here before and had a decent meal. Breakfast is popular. This is strictly a grill place so don't expect too much. I'm a pancake man and like blueberry pancakes. But here they put this canned blueberry stuff on top. No blueberries inside. And my pancakes were big and thick but not done in the middle. Stick with omelette... More
