My husband and I were camping in Rock Hill and discovered this little spot. The waitstaff was super friendly. There were six of us, so we had a variety of different entrees. Everyone enjoyed their food!! Definitely worth the drive from Charlotte, even if you aren't camping in the area. Just a little tip if you're planning to dine on... More

This was our second dining experience at Pier 51 in the last two years. Their speciality is their fried fish and seafood, albeit they also offer other items. Of course, once you order goes to the chef you get a visit to the salad bar, which has a wide variety of salad items and dressings to start things out. My... More

We usually stay in Rock Hill on our way home from Florida and usually eat downtown. This was our first experience at Pier 51. It is outside the city limits but easily found and when we got there the parking lot was full. That has always been a good sign to me. We were not disappointed at all. We were... More

Great seafood here! Whenever we are craving seafood, this is the place we go. Don't let the packed parking lot fool you, they always have room inside.

If your ever in this area, you must try Pier 51. The food is great, and salad bar that comes with your meal is perfect, and you get more food than you can eat. The hush puppies are very good to. When we ate there the first time we ordered that large portion, and brought food home. The second time... More

My husband and I both had the Seafood Platter. Dinner comes with one trip to the salad bar. While the salad bar is small, it is adequate. You can get two kinds of coleslaw there, so you don't have to choose that as a side. Serving size was enough to have some to take home for lunch the next day.... More

We ordered one combo platter and split it between three people and had some left over. If you are looking for good solid "fish camp" type of food, this is the place!

If you like: iceberg lettuce salad bar, large portion of slightly greasy but really tasty seafood, cold beer, informal dining with super hush puppies, all for less than $20 total, then this place is for you. It certainly is what I wanted. Southern fried seafood served with friendliness and Southern charm. A snooty transplant from Charlotte may not like this... More
