What a hidden gem! The whole family loved the place. Great choice of food, simply but well prepared. Even the pickiest of us wants to go back. Wonderful atmosphere, too. It reminded me of places I used to go when I was a kid, just that warm family friendly atmosphere with nothing fancy where no one goes home dissatisfied or... More

This is a long standing restaurant that is tried and true every time. They have complimentary grits and Hush puppies all day. Please note they are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There will be a line the earlier the better.

When I went to eat here, they were closed for the season. Every person I talked to that has eaten here, were over excited and happy with the service.

As a southerner living in the desert, I really, really miss great seafood. On a recent visit to Aiken, my parents took me here for dinner. Wow, was it good--outstanding even. I had the fried catfish--done beautifully in cornmeal, super fresh, and I couldn't eat it all. Maybe it was because I just HAD to get my fill of the... More

Nothing fancy here, just what you'd expect a good fish camp to be. I had the small catfish plate and it was all I could eat (I'm a big eater). Three perfectly fried whole catfish, slaw, and fries. They also offer a grits and hush puppy bar. The grits were great.

What is wrong with this place? The hours of operation. They're not open enough! ! This is a great place to take your family for a great time. The food is very good and the atmosphere is one of a kind with all kinds of things mounted here and there. Add to that the little zoo outside and it's a... More

Old McDonald's Fish Camp is an excellent opportunity to show off what South Carolina is all about. It's full of all the good fixins and catfish and goats for the kiddies to feed as well. It's a must.
