This place is a throwback country bar that has both kinds of music: Country AND Western. It even has chicken wire dividers. It has an odd layout, and in the bar with the band you can order one thing: beer. There's only one kind of beer, and it's not entirely clear what kind of beer it is. But it's cold... More

Good place to grab some drinks and play some pool. Wasn't brave enough to order food once we saw the kitchen layout.

Founded in 1944, This place is right off the boardwalk in Myrtle Beach. If you eat outside you can see the Atlantic. It's more of a people/tourist watching area. It's across the street from 4 Ripley's Believe it or Not! locations as well as a lot of stores, bars, restaurants.... about a quarter mile from the ferris wheel. Wife had... More

My wife and I love this place... but it's not for everyone. Do your homework before attending. It's an old school honky-tonk with a highly talented and interactive house band that plays country and southern rock. The place might appear run down and dingy, but it's all part of its deep roots and history. Southern charm at its finest. Bring... More

we had heard the food was good, so we decided to check it out. The food was very good, handmade burgers cooked to perfection, fries with the skin on, fried flounder sandwich was cooked perfectly and there is music every night at 8 pm. mostly local bands.

We always try to stop here when visiting MB. We always like the atmosphere and great live music. We got to enjoy it during Labor Day weekend and had a great time.

We went here to have a good time and drink. The band was fabulous, but the staff was far from it. Staff was not friendly and didn't greet you with a smile. Also, if you buy a beer inside, you can't take it outside. If you are outside you have to buy your beverages at the outside bar.

Thank Kristyn S

When you want a fun place to spend your night after a long day at the many attractions in the area, The Bowery is a must-see. An adult, relaxed atmosphere, this Myrtle Beach nightclub is the perfect place for those who want to kick back and unwind. Although there is a lot to this bar, these are some of the aspects that makes locals keep on coming: • Great rock and country music throughout the night.• A wide range of beers and mixed drinks to whet your palate.• Interesting people and fun bartenders make this a great place to make friends.Although The Bowery is best known for its atmosphere, there is a bit of history involved with this bar. If you’ve heard of the band Alabama, then you know that their music can really command a room. The Bowery is actually where Alabama got it's start and where they spent many nights entertaining those who came there. You can even hear this bar mentioned in some of their songs! If you love the band Alabama, then you’ll surely want to visit The Bowery to get a taste of history. Another great thing about this nightclub is its location. The Bowery is located at 110 9th Ave. North, in Myrtle Beach right on the ocean, very close to some top rated Myrtle Beach condos. You’re so close to the water that you can actually get a really good view of the Atlantic Ocean while you’re there. With all of these reasons, there’s no reason not to visit. Open 7 Days a week from 11am-until in season.
