We had our Sunset Properties office party at The Brentwood. The atmosphere was perfect... elegant without being stuffy. Everyone felt very welcome, and relaxed... the perfect backdrop for enjoying all of the deliciousness. I had the Chicken Oscar which was quite simply the best chicken dish I've ever had. The Profiteroles were pure heaven. We'll be back and will be... More

My husband and I went based on the restaurant's website and the reviews on Tripadvisor. We both opted for the $50 three course fixed menu with wine. The food was good but portions were not big, I had the French Onion soup (which was very authentic) and hubby had the goat cheese salad which was unfortunately drowned in dressing. I... More

Visited just before Thanksgiving with reservation (wasn't needed). We were immediately seated in a large room. Only one other couple dined in the same room, but it was Tuesday evening. Service was good. Both of us had specialty salad and they were good. Husband had the pear salad with bleu cheese on top and I thought it better than my... More

The chef is really French - has the accent to prove it as well as the dish creations he makes. The atmosphere is beautiful and has so much history. I haven't had a chance to do the ghost tour, but I hope to in the near future. Great place to stop by and have a drink for happy hour or... More

Very disappointed in this restaurant. Selected prime rib from the early dinner menu. It was by far the thinnest cut I have had in my whole life. My wife and another woman at our table ordered the crab cake. Neither woman ate more than a couple of bites. I tasted some of my wife's entree. None of us could detect... More

We went to the Brentwood on a weeknight in the off season for a business dinner with another couple - just 4 of us. The Brentwood has a very cozy ambiance - white tablecloths set in an old Victorian house. The food was very good. I think everyone was impressed with their entrees. My only complaint was the service. We... More

I have been here a few times and always liked the food and service. This last trip was very disappointing besides the service being so slow and it was before 630 We were having the prime rib and lobster tail special and both of our plates came out cold. The service was not good at all as well as the... More

We signed up for the Ghost tour dinner, the food was good except for the steak which was not worth the $50.00 fee. The tour was interesting but no ghost sightings. Dessert was fabulous I had the chocolate dessert and wanted to take more home with me.

Wonderful restaurant in old "mansion". Our first time here but will definitely return. Excellent variety from award winning chef... too many good entrees to choose from. The surf and turf (lobster tail and prime rib) was delicious and a bargain at only $29. Great service, ambience and food. The desserts were fabulous! We ordered 4 different ones and shared. Creme...
