Love the food, and the atmosphere, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired and I'm not a needy, picky person. My biggest complaint, is that if there are 3 in your party, all three meals will come out separately, and often 10-15...More

In my humble opinion, the pepperoni tastes better than the cheese pizza. The tea was good, the atmosphere LOUD. Based on reviews, i thought to give it a try. Not worth making an extra effort to come back though.

We walked here after an event at the the Bins Secor. Pizza was really very good, staff was ok. It was not very clean and the “wine bar” was minimal but still, the pizza was great so I would go again if we come back...More

Stopped in for lunch today. I was very happy with the service. Everyone was so friendly and the pepperoni sausage calzone was very tasty. The crust had openings to help cool so you don't burn your face off with the first bite.

Delicious Pizza with a NY Crust. Hard to find parking. The salads and bread sticks are good. I do not care for the Spaghetti.

Very tasty pizza. Half pepperoni half Hawaiian. Great taste and staff was very helpful. We picked to eat outside on the side walk and the staff brought our food to us. Was very nice and not expensive.

Bertolli's was recommended by the owners of the Airbnb we rented in Greenville. We ordered a 16" veggie pizza and two glasses of Chianti. Not being a big cheese fan it had too much cheese on it. My fault for not ordering light cheese. The...More

Description
The tradition of hard work and dedication with the Bertolo family began when Pete Bertolo had to start working at the age of 7 due to the sudden death of his father. At the age of 9, he became a full-time painter. At the age of 15, he and his family were driven out of Italy and chose to start a new life in America. He began working at a sewing factory in New York where he met his wife, Josephine, 4 years later. They both worked at the factory until 1977. In 1978, Pete and Josephine started from scratch a family business in Greenville, South Carolina. The success of the family business is based on both a strong work ethic and recipes steeped in Sicilian heritage. Antonino Bertolo went back to his roots and all the recipes currently being used in the restaurant can be traced back through 5 generations of Sicilian tradition. Antonino Bertolo realized the importance of the perfect balance of tomato sauce and spices when it comes to pizza sauce. The dough is made with 100% pure olive oil with a hint of honey. And Lastly, the Mozzarella cheese is still the same high quality “Grande Cheese” used when the doors opened in 1977 to give Antonino Bertolo’s Pizza its unique rich flavor. Antonino Bertolo’s signature pizza sauce uses the freshest and finest ingredients mixed together to make the perfect New York style pizza with a Sicilian influence.
