Really good service and hot food. The menu isn't overly complicated and there are great prices if you arrive before 6 pm. The onion cake is a fabulous appetizer big enough for 4 ... I could have it as my meal!! Seafood is fresh and the tenderloin is amazing!

$13.95 for Sunday brunch buffet. Great waterfront view of the marsh. Food is great. Service is good. Highly recommended.

Raves review from friends, but disappointed by lackluster service and mediocre food. Can't beat the view, and anyone can have a bad night.

We ate here on Christmas eve. They took reservations and were in the area that we were staying. The food was just o.k. The service was just o.k. If you split a bill, make sure that you check what they are suggesting for a tip. Our waiter almost got a 40 percent tip and he barely deserved a 20 percent... More

Hit or miss. These were the very words of the waitress... There were a whole group of us and it was totally true. I was disapointed with the overall result, i really expected hit at 100% in that area. The she-crab soup and the lobster tail were a pure delight, but the seafood platter or the oyster shooters or king... More

Gulfstream Cafe is not only in a beautiful location on the marsh, but also has the best crabcakes in possibly all of South Carolina. They are advertised as lump crab, and for once, that description is very accurate. Our waiter, Bill, also made for a wonderful dining experience with his knowledge and attentiveness. Thank you for a truly wonderful Christmas... More

Great food and awesome for the kids also. They are having Santa again next week for anyone that missed it today. Three of us had the brunch buffet and one at table had the king crab omelette. Great experience and a must stop.

I normally like Gulf Stream Cafe but I had a bad experience there yesterday and it will stay with me for awhile. There was practically no-one in the place and we had advance reservations for about 30+ people. They ran out of Tenderloin so many of us did not get our first choice on the menu. Even more disturbing was... More

Hi Ron, I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us. I'm sorry to hear that we didn't have enough Filets to fulfill your party. We only serve fresh, never frozen beef, so having extra wasn't an option. Although again, we could have had a few more on hand, so I understand the frustration and will pass... More

This was our first visit to Gulfstream. It a large facility with great views of the marsh. We sat upstairs in the bar area and the bartender/waitress was great. We ordered a seafood platter. Nothing special or memorable. We did have great drinks. Will order something different next time. This would be a great place to view the sunset and... More

Gulfstream faces the Inlet from the ocean side so sunsets are beautiful. They have a good reputation and the atomsphere is great. I was disappointed as the food was only average and the server was definitely lacking. Might have been an off night as the friends we were with really enjoy eating there and they were disappointed.

Voted “best restaurant with a view” and “most romantic” by The Sun News; Gulfstream Cafe is the only restaurant on the Strand overlooking the ocean on one side and Murrells Inlet on the other. Watch the sun set from the upstairs bar or deck and savor the creamy She-Crab soup, jumbo lump Crab Cakes, daily catch or Southern favorites- such as fried Lobster Tail. Offering something for everyone: live music, seasonal Oyster Roasts and Sunday brunch with a build your own Bloody Mary bar. Located at the south end of Garden City next to Marlin Quay Marina.
