It was a Tuesday night, not crowded. We went to choose a booth, seat was ripped, so we moved over. Waiter too our order after bringing our drinks. It was too cold, so I got hot tea. Put my tea bag in at 6:21 after ordering. Another man came in, sat across, quickly got his meal. Another couple came in... More

Had breakfast here and it was okay. The staff was nice or waiter made sure that or food was correct my waffle was delicious and the turkey sausage was good as well.

My husband and I stayed overnight in Florence SC on our way from Fl to Va. This restaurant sounded like a fun and different place to eat. I ordered fried chicken and my husband had stew. Very small portions plus meat and veggies didnt have any flavor. The restaurant was fairly clean but the tables either needed major cleaning or... More

On a family trip to DC & stopped over to rest in Florence. We found this place quite by accident as we were driving by & decided to stop in. We were a little hesitant at first because it appeared nearly empty, but boy what an enjoyable dining experience. The menu is basic & the food is southern style comfort... More

If you are looking for real southern food like grandma used to make, checkout Lizard's Thicket. Stopped here on the way back from Myrtle Beach and the food was pretty good. For $6.49, we enjoyed the hearty country breakfast. Served with nice, large homemade country biscuits, two farm fresh eggs and you choose your side. I enjoyed the skillet apples... More

Extensive breakfast menu with all your southern comfort food favorites served fast & fresh. Loved the homemade biscuits! Fried chicken and waffles were excellent. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Restaurant was extremely clean also.

Surprised because of the name, We did not expect to have a home style meal with a name like Lizards thicket. But we were pleasantly surprised to order two veggie plates.

I'm from Florida and just happened by at lunchtime. Southern cooking on the sign caught my attention. Tons of choices of true southern cuisine served lightning fast by friendly staff in a nice clean and updated atmosphere. Definitely worth the stop and going back.

Great meat and three at a reasonable price. If you like country comfort food, this is the place. Reasonably priced and great service. I could go here every day. Do yourself a favor and try this place. Always good.
