Watching all these foodie tv shows got us excited about trying Flowers Seafood. The parking lot was full; it was lightly raining, there were 2 guys working the kitchen. We waited probably 20-30 minutes for our lunch. The food was delicious. I had the feeling like this place is no longer a secret and it knows it, and therefore charges... More

Pros. Fresh seafood... and bait. The prices here are extremely reasonable. Try to go early as they sometimes run out daily which is not necessarily a bad thing since it is fresh Cons. The selection is limited. And not overwhelmingly welcoming. Overall. I would recommend stopping at this place if you're wanting to cook your own fresh seafood meal or... More

The annual Flowers oyster roast was very nice. Well setup and organized. The oysters just kept coming and coming. Plenty of locals but lots of off-islanders also. The bonfire was superb; a delight for young and old. Because the Clemson-South Carolina game was on that night, a large screen was outdoors for all to watch...some enjoyed, some didn't. The roast... Great place to buy locally caught shrimp. The blue crabs were good too. Some of the fish fillets looked a bit old. We have not sampled the prepared foods.

Was looking for some already prepared (fried) shrimp. I ordered some from Flowers Seafood Market and they were excellent seafood to add to my large size tossed dinner salad. Great taste. Good seafood for a first time visitor to Edisto Island.

They only have outdoor seating, which was infested with mosquitos and a stray cat. We had to take our order to go. This was our first visit so we didn't expect that. The hush puppies were very good! Food was the average fried or steamed seafood. Can't say that it was anything spectacular. We had the fried shrimp and fried... More

Only serves cook to order Thursday-Saturday, but we bought local shrimp, they iced our cooler and sent us on our way. Also had casserole items, but we passed on those. Had the shrimp when got home, and it was excellent

You can always depend on Flowers for your fresh shrimp and scallops. We like to sauté them, thus want them fresh each day.

This is a mobile kitchen parked behind Flowers Seafood on the way on to Edisto Island, SC. The family owns their own shrimp boats and sell seafood out of a small building near the street. When you order they pick out the fresh seafood and cook it for you. You eat outside under large Live Oaks with hanging Spanish Moss. I have photos to share.
