We stopped after golf, margaritas were good and my food excellent. Salsa is a bit on the hot side but very good. I recommend special #10.

For a Mexican food restaurant in Columbia, this place has excellent Mexican food. I had the Carnitas, which were excellent. I also partook in a couple of tequilas. They served the Heradurra in the correct glass. I can't wait to come back to Columbia and eat here again.

We got the chicken fajitas and unbeknownst to us it came with a side plate of nachos with refried beans and con queso. Very good

Their sign claims authentic Mexican food and I don't dispute that. I remember the first time I ate a street taco in LA and discovering Taco Bell isn't authentic. We had lunch with combination plates involving enchiladas, tamale, chalupa, beans and rice. There was enough food on either plate for us to divide one between us and be satisfied. But... More

read the reviews thought I would take a chance and see for myself. No frills Mexican joint - the usual tacky decorations but what do you expect? I normally judge the place before I order by the salsa and chips. Salsa well was different that what I am used to more of a puree of salsa versus chunky. Chips were... More

I've been to this restaurant twice. The first time was for takeout and the second was to dine in. The food was good both times. When I dined in there were two hostesses and they were both texting on their cell phones so I had to say something to get their attention. After being seated it took me about 5... More

Best Authentic Mexican Food I've found, since I visited Oklahoma several years ago!!!!!! A friend and I stopped while passing through Columbia, SC. Interior decor is simple, basic and no frills. Staff are down to earth, know their menu and helpful. Good food. We had the three bean burritos, chicken quesadillas, delicious chicken soup served with avocados and chicken wings for the kids. A must try.

I've lived in Columbia for almost 5 years and this is the best Mexican restaurant I have found yet. Always fresh and delicious, with quick and friendly service. Never a bad choice for lunch or dinner if you're in the Northeast.
