This restaurant seems to excel at making accessible dishes that are tweaked to make them over the top. Great atmosphere, great service, and great food.

We had a group of 11 with reservations on a night that was not busy. The service was impeccable and the view was tremendous. The food was marginal at best. The amount of oil and butter smothered most of the potentially neat flavors. The combinations of foods and limited selection almost seemed in place only to justify the high cost.... More

Very cool spot near the State House. Limited lunch menu that was all delicious. Pot Pie was excellent. Tacos of the day were amazing. Very busy for lunch so make a reservation. We ate at the bar with great view of State House,

Visited here yesterday while on a food tour - was blown away with a creative dish (semolina flour bread pudding with caramel, blood orange curd, olive oil ice cream, and pine nut brittle), not to mention the view. Can't wait to go back and try the menu.

Friday evening 4 Feb. Dinner for three. What a great evening. From a stop by the bar to a great steak. All associates were fantastic. Manager stopped by to greet us. Restaurant was nicely decorated, reclaimed wood. Well worth a visit when you are in town. I need to mention, Jack, he was on top of everything and made our... More

We went to Oak Table for brunch and it was incredible. The food was amazing and the drinks were great too! The warm pimiento cheese is a must! I had the brunch burger and it was absolutely perfect. $15 bottomless mimosas is also hard to beat! It is fine dining with a beautiful view of the Capitol Building in SC.

I made a reservation on open table and walked here from my downtown hotel. The first thing I noticed was the incredible view of the Capitol building. They have these giant windows that look across the street at the Capitol - just beautiful. The restaurant has a small feel, but it is actually quite large and open. The bar is... More
