WE went to Magnolia's for my birthday dinner. We went very early (4:30p) as they serve dinner that early. We were the only diners there. The service was impeccable. The Manager was very accomodating in getting me their signature martini (though I had requested their sister's restaurant's martini). Martini was good. The foods we ordered were just so-so. I had... This is a must restaurant for anyone visiting Charleston. The menu is first-rate and has many selections that it was hard to decide. One thing that stood out on the menu was their stuffed pork loin. An outstanding taste that distinguishes this restaurant from most of the others in this city.

My father-in-law and his girlfriend were in town for a short visit, just 36 hours, so we always like to choose a restaurant that will be a great experience. Fortunately they arrived during Restaurant Week in January so we could splurge on a spectacular meal! None of us had been to SNOB before and we certainly can not wait to... More

My wife and I went to eat dinner. We could have eaten everything on the menu. The wait staff was most accommodating. We ended up ordering several appitizers that were unbelievable. We were so full we ordered creme' brûlée and wonderful coffee.

How could we have lived in Charleston for almost 18 years and not eaten at Magnolia's. Now that we have, we will definitely return many times. We were a group of 7. Everyone tried something different. Alll were delighted with their choices. Service was handled with great care too

Considering this is my first visit to the south, this is also my first experience with southern cousin. And for that I did a little research and this restaurant came up as a must go to place in Charleston. So after a whole day of walking around Charleston French quarter and admiring the residential district, my wife and I popped... More

My fiancé and I had a spectacular meal at Magnolias! Wonderful service and extremely flavorful food. My fiancé had the filet with melted pimento cheese on top. Wow!!! And I had the snapper special that was just as mouthwatering! Dessert was fantastic too! (Pecan pie and blueberry parfait) We will definitely be back our next visit to Charleston!

My daughter and I wanted lunch downtown and this was perfect! The house made piemento spread appetizer was wonderful. The servers were attentive and friendly. I had a salad while my daughter enjoyed a sandwich. Everything was presented nicely and tasted great.

We took our two young adult sons along on a pursuit of a classic South Carolina dinner. Our B&B staff at Two Meeting Street recommended this, and we were thrilled with the whole experience. Our waiter (we don't remember his name, but he's a high school teacher) was outstanding, and made recommendations that were perfect for us. Every meal was... More

My sister and brother-in-law said we had to go to Magnolia's if we went to Charleston and I'm glad we did. I took my two teenagers for lunch when we there on vacation. The appetizers - fried green tomatoes and fried macaroni and cheese - were exceptional, our entrees were amazing and the dessert was a perfect ending. Not inexpensive... More
