I had a great steak and my friend enjoyed the Alfredo linguini with shrimp. After dinner we went to the bar and listened to the live music. Fun atmosphere!!

The Manager was unwilling to fix our order. We ordered the prime rib sandwich and the bottom half of the bun was soggy with blood. They laughed at us as if we were crazy. We had to pay for it, even though we ordered something different from the menu. The Manager was taking shots with bartender. She also laughed at... More

We all had a fish sandwich with sweet potato fries and they were delicious. Washed down with a local brew, which they suggested, made it even better. The horse drawn carriages have a route down this street so if you are lucky enough to get a window seat, you can watch the activity on the street. We liked the eats... More

We needed a place to eat late after taking the mystery walk. This place was recommended. Was a good choice. My husband loved the corned beef. I had the bookmaker which hit the spot. Our waitress was friendly and funny. She had us laughing. We enjoyed the live irish music.

I have yet to try any food here, but I keep going back for their late night drinks and entertainment. The band that frequently plays here is wonderful and entertaining (and yes, they're actually Irish). There's always an interesting crowd of all ages that really makes it fun as well. If you happen to be in the area for St... More

My husband and I saw this restaurant on our way to another venue. We stopped and read the menu that is posted outside, deciding we would return later for dinner. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff and amazing food.

Our first stop on our food tour we were treated to samplings of of Crunchy fried green tomatoes and a hearty bowl of cheese grits. Both were very good. The restaurant also specializes in Irish cuisine. It was already decorated for St. Patrick's Day. Looks like a great place for Irish food and fun.

Wow, I don't have enough time to express how much I enjoyed this place. My wife, daughter (14 yo) and myself had just left the Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theater (which we enjoyed very much) and were hungry. But it was late on a Sunday night, we were hungry, and as tourist we didn't want to roam the streets looking... More

After working in the restaurant business for many years, Tommy opened his first restaurant in 1984. He has made his name by becoming one of Charleston's favorite local spots to serve up Lowcountry specialties such as shrimp and grits and fish and chips. Tommy runs the type of family-oriented establishment where people know their children are as welcome as they are. In fact, a children's menu has been specially prepared for "little leprechauns." In the months following Hurricane Hugo, Tommy made numerous trips to Ireland collecting exquisite antique mirrors and authentic Irish memorabilia that adorn his restaurant. He scoured the countryside and brought every pub mirror he could find. He laughs wryly about his massive shipping bills. The results are worth all his effort. The mirrors cast rich reflections, making the restaurant warm and inviting. Some mirrors are ornately detailed while others shimmer with simple elegance. You'll swear you've been transported to a pub shrouded in antiquity in Ireland's rambling countryside. The restaurant would not be complete without the sounds of Ireland. The background music is perfect. In the pub and bar area the "live" sounds of Ireland can be heard every Wednesday through Sunday nights. You can sit back and listen or join in singing an Irish-American sing-along. Tommy says it is wonderful to see whole families getting in on the fun at one table while at another sits a couple on a date and at yet another sits someone's grandparents remembering and laughing.
