Here is what you do.....Go upstairs and sit at the bar. Don't even open the menu. Just get to know Tyler and let him create a drink for you. The guy is a true craftsman with a passion for what he does. I had the best cocktail there that I have ever tried and it has been my go-to ever... More

We received wonderful service and loved all of our food. We appreciated the large variety of Gluten Free options on the menu.

Had a reservation on New Years Eve. Arrived at 15 minutes early and people were stacked up inside the door waiting to be seated. We were told it would "be awhile" before we were seated. Asked the hostess what that meant and she said in 15 minutes and that we could wait in the bar which was upstairs. Sounded fair... More

Great location and beautiful restaurant. The service was good; our server was very attentive. The food was decent. We had the swordfish and salmon. The salmon has too much dijon for my liking. The lobster bisque was delicious! With so many restaurants in the area, this is not one I need to visit again while in town.

We had a party of eight with several special requests. They accommodated everyone very nicely. Great wine list. Several of us had the tuna, very good.

Another quality experience in the contemporary atmosphere at Cypress. We shared a charcuterie board, a cheese board, and oysters to start and then each had seafood or steaks after that. The wasabi crusted tuna was excellent. Recommended.

My wife and I were in town for a destination wedding last month along with friends who live elsewhere. We had six people in their 60s and six people in their 30s in our group. We contacted Cypress by phone to see if they could accommodate our large group on a Friday night after unsuccessfully attempting to get a reservation... More

The main reason I am dinging one star is because I booked my table a week in advance, they weren't full by any means when we arrived and they tried to seat us initially at a table right where staff go back and forth to kitchen and then at a table against a far wall when they had booths open.... We only stopped by Cypress for a few glasses of wine, and wish that we had more time in Charleston, to dine there. The service was very good, and though the wine list (especially the B-T-G options) was a bit short, there were adequate options, for an enjoyable afternoon.
