We had been wandering around the market area and stumbled upon the Anson. They seated us quickly without a reservation and we were served by Darnell who was wonderful. I have never seen devilled eggs on a menu anywhere and they are a personal favourite...More

The restaurant was very accommodating with our group of 10. We were seated in an area in which it was easy to have a conversation. Our server, Billy, was delightful. The food was exceptional.

Not only is this restaurant great for food, the location is super cool! The French Quarter is really awesome and Anson has great seafood options. The service is great too.

We had a lovely meal at Anson's. Our waiter was excellent, answered any questions we had about the food in a knowledgeable manner and also gave some suggestions too. Decor and ambiance was pleasing. Would recommend

Such great food! Everything was fantastic and the signature dish, a flounder with apricot glaze was worth our trip to Charleston!

One of the very nice restaurant in Charleston. Excellent atmosphere and good service. We were recommended the special pork chop. It is really a large one, but more bone than meat and meat was hard work. Somewhat disappointing.

Great dinner place close to main market! Had garlic app and filet for dinner. Both were served piping hot and to perfection. Service was awesome and staff was friendly.

We were there in April-May. Some people dressed up for dinner, some dressed smart casual, and some were casual. From my observation I would say its up to you.

No. Just wear what you'd normally wear to a decent restaurant.
