We went here our first night in Charleston and got a crab cake appetizer, spinach salad and chicken and waffles. Highly recommend the chicken and waffles (but all of it was good)! They offer vegetarian options as well and the waiter was super friendly.

Best friend and I started our Girls Week with a visit here. Was recommended by our hotel and they didn't steer us wrong! Bestie was thrilled with shrimp and grits. I had pulled pork which was so good. The collard greens were amazing. We had the duck wings for an appetizer and they were so so good. Our waitress was... More

We ate here each day of our stay in Charleston. I had their Shrimp and Grits. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking with the staff. They are very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Great food, great location, great service. The "Low Country" Paella was great. My wife had the Pulled Pork and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Portion were large and prices were mid-range...good value.

We brought 12 family members to the LCB for a mid-week dinner. Made reservations well in advance and the staff irked with us to get the timing and location (upstairs) just right. We only had one server but she worked hard to keep drinks, appetizers and main course moving at a good pace. Food was outstanding and group probably ordered... More

This is a cute restaurant with downstairs and upstairs seating. We tried the shrimp and grits. The shrimp are grilled with a parmesan/chive grits. The grits are not a smooth creamy but have more of a punch. The grits are topped with a fried green tomato and on top of that is a layering of a tomato medley (similar to... More

This place was great. Great food and atmosphere. Our waiter Jeff was the best. So polite and attentive. We had the jambalaya and burgers. Both were out of this world. Quiet jazz music playing in the background and the A/C kept us happy and cool. Everything was awesome!!

Description
SIMPLY LOWCOUNTRY: Lowcountry Bistro focuses only on the freshest ingredients since all of the food we cook is from scratch. On the menu you will find cult favorites like Chicken and Waffles to Lowcountry classics like Shrimp and Grits. We also believe that great food can be affordable. Many of our lunch dishes are under $10. Our goal as a restaurant is to serve high quality, delicious food, at a fair price. We hope you agree after your meal at Lowcountry Bistro. SISTER RESTAURANT TO 82 QUEEN As an icon of the city for over 30 years, we have seen restaurants come and go. We pride ourselves on the fact that we were one of the first original Lowcountry cuisine restaurants to open their doors in the city. We know Lowcountry and after diligently researching Market Street restaurants, have come to the conclusion that what the area needs is a true, authentic Lowcountry restaurant.
