The outdoor seating is quite charming. The food was wonderful and far from ordinary. Be comfortable and enjoy! They have some parking since it used to be a gas station.

It used to be a gas station, and now it's a dive. I won't talk about the bathrooms. The music was too loud, and the boys watching football were very exuberant. I had the jerk chicken sandwich, which was fine, and the hand cut french fries, which were superb. My server was kind but slow.

Stumbled on Fuel as we cruised around Charleston and we were not disappointed. A casual reception and a variety of beer taps told us that we were in for a treat. The tell tale discovery was a black bean soup that was a knokout. While the Mahi mahi tacos had excellent flavor, they should consider corn tortilla to help control... More

Took the family here Sunday evening. The menu is fun, but not over the top. My daughter had the jerk chicken sandwich, my wife got some sort of pulled pork or braised tacos with polentas on the side, and I got chorizo tacos with a side of black beans and a side of rice. It was all crazy good, but... More

Small indoor seating area, but a large outdoor seating area. Looks like a sports bar when you arrive, but it tastes like gourmet Caribbean. Dogs are accepted outdoors. My party tried the Jerk chicken, fried plantains, chicken nachos and chorizo burger. The sweet potato fries looked great too. All of which was delicious. Service was excellent. Go early as parking... Awesome atmosphere for happy hour. Great drink deals from 4-7 weekdays. Small but great menu, plenty of options for all. Plenty of good local brews and expensive cocktail list. Happy go lucky staff that is attentive. Food and drinks can take a long time during peak hours but that shouldn't deter or scare anybody; worth the wait.

Service was great, but the food was average. Great outdoor eating area. It's funny we saw a food show "DDD" later that week that highlighted FUEL from 2012. Neat place but felt like the menu needed to be updated and the food needed to be revamped. Hoecakes were dense and hard and tacos were average. Cocktails were good. Neat concept... More

We had a reasonably priced meal in their outdoor patio, good ice cold beers, and we even got to play corn hole afterwards. Fun. One thing though, it was mid August, I got about 10 mosquito bites on their patio. They have bug spray to use, but its hard to cover yourself good when people are eating!

We had a nice time here. It's a fun vibe, with TV's, couches, big screens, and a bar out back. We loved that it was pet friendly and shaded outside. The chicken tacos were excellent! We would definitely return.
