    No returns

    Passed by so many times when timing wasn't right, finally had a chance, disappointed. Ribs-no sauce-were good, pulled pork was good but oversauced. Cornbread was tasty-sweet, if you like that. Mac-n-cheese and green beans were not good. At least I tried Sgt. Whites, no more...More

    Tried & True - love the fried pork chops!!!

    We read the other Trip Advisor reviews and went ahead and made a stop at Sgt White’s - we tried the brisket, limas, yams, sweet cornbread and pecan pie and it was all terrific BUT it’s the fried PORK CHOPS that bring it all home....More

    Eat the fried pork chops!

    I recently spent three weeks traveling (eating my way) through the South. This meal was by far the best I had during the trip. I highly recommend the fried pork chops, collard greens, and pecan pie. Memorable!

    A Favorite Stop

    A must stop anytime we're spending time in Beaufort. Great prices, healthy portions, family friendly, and totally casual. We've never left disappointed or hungry.

    Soul food with a smoky flavor
