Stopped on our way home from Hilton Head Island. Had not been to Beaufort and thought it would be a nice spot to get some lunch. It was very good. Great ambiance and food.

Excellent service, good variety of items reasonably priced. Very close to waterfront and shops. No problem finding parking.

We decided to go back as we have not been for awhile, no reason why, just had not been. The menu is limited, but the food is great. Wait staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations.

Nice little place with a relaxing decor and nice blend of history and contemporary design. The food was quite good - we really enjoyed the crab fritter appetizer, and the kale salad was delicious. Entrees were good, with the highlight being the featured pasta with...More

We decided on this restaurant for lunch when another local eatery was closed for the holiday. Glad we ended up here because it was delicious. Burgers are huge. Fried green tomatoe sandwich was excellent. Sweet mango tea was excellent! Wait staff was friendly. Our waitress...More

On our first night in Beaufort, after looking at a few restaurants and menus we decided to eat at Wren Bistro. What a great choice. We had the best shrimp and grits and an exquisitely shaken dirty martini prepared by Sarah, a charming bartender/mixologist. We...More

I have been to this restaurant before and while the food has been good the service is always terrible. This time it was the worst and the managers response to a complaint was absurd! We waited over 45 minutes for food and were then told...More

After meeting another couple for drinks at Saltus on Thursday evening, we headed to Wren for the gourmet burger special. By the time we arrived at 8, there was a wait. We sat at the bar and ended up eating there but our table was...More

Thank you for your interest. We are closed both Sunday and Monday. If you are still in town a walk from your hotel would be a few blocks. Hope to see you soon!

Description
Wren Bistro and Bar is a locally owned and operated restaurant and bar that features an ever evolving menu for both lunch and dinner. The kitchen uses delicious locally caught seafood, great cuts of steak, juicy chicken, and tasty pasta dishes. The portions are enormous (the 18 oz ribeye, and the 12-14 oz burgers for example!) and are easily big enough to share. We compliment the lunch and dinner menus with a staff of professional servers and bartenders who are very knowledgeable, always courteous, and very entertaining. The décor is elegant, yet modern and hip. So, if you and yours are looking for a great experience, and even better food, come check us out anytime Monday through Saturday, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. Reservations are not required, but always welcomed!
